As an executive coach, Paula Lowe helps leaders and managers
clarify and attain their professional goals and increase their
satisfaction with their career and life. She has over 30 years
of experience in leadership development and career development.
Her experience includes more than 15 years of full-time
management experience, including responsibility for staff,
budgets and multiple functional areas. She has worked with leaders at all levels: Presidents,
Directors, Managers and high potential professionals
representing a wide range of functional specialties including:
law, finance, information technology, marketing and security
intelligence. Paula has presented at national and regional conferences,
including a presentation on Executive Coaching at a national
conference of the American Society of Training and Development
(ASTD). Her clients comment that her approach is practical and balances
a style of personal warmth with a strong focus on helping her
clients attain tangible results. They find her extensive
management and leadership experience to be very valuable in her
coaching. Her areas of specialty include: Career Development – Focus on clarification of the clients’
personal needs, interests, and skills and helping them to
increase their satisfaction in their current position and make
informed career decisions.

are the result of avoiding or mishandling difficult
communications. The coaching focuses on developing the skills
and confidence to communicate difficult issues constructively.

Paula’s prior experience includes creating NASD/Nasdaq’s first
formal training function which she grew from its first course
offerings to an organizational development department with
comprehensive capabilities including leadership development,
management and interpersonal skills training, team building,
group facilitation, change management, computer training,
in-house course design, and on-line courses. Prior experiences
include managing the Management Training function at Crum and
Forster, a Xerox Financial Services Organization and creating
the first Career Center for adult students and mid-career
professionals at the University of Maryland.
Paula earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland and an M.A.
from George Washington University. She is a graduate of the
Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certificate Program.
She is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator, 360 feedback instruments and has extensive
experience conducting 360 interviews. |
